ARIQA is a procedure of product quality control and assessment that is applied to all the delivered ARI-L MOUS.
A dedicated web-based html interface has been developed to ease this operation. The interfaces, for each MOUS, automatically link to the weblog for the Imaging Pipeline (IPL) for the science targets, to a IPL-QA2 comparison interface, and to the ARI-L README. The IPL-QA2 comparison shows the QA2 generated images which already were available in the ASA, compared to those generated by the IPL, after the latter have been properly smoothed in angular and spectral resolutions.
A checklist has been defined that encompasses:
a verification of the performance of the ARI code (no error was issued during download or processing)
the weblog review for the target IPL
for the IPL-QA2 comparison, the relative differences in rms and (if a detection is present) in dynamic range is not worse than 30%, for at least one of the products in the MOUS
the readme file information is complete (in case of need notes from the ARIQA might be added at this stage)
a verification that all the products (including cubes and continuum images for bandpass, phase and check-sources if present) are generated.
