Dr. Vasily Jorjadze is an experimental nuclear physicist with over 40 years of experience in detector design and data processing. Dr. Jorjadze has worked at Brookhaven and Fermi National Labs, and international laboratories including DESY in Germany, PSI and CERN in Switzerland, and the High Energy Physics Institute in Serpukhov and Joint Institute for Nuclear Physics, in Dubna, both Russia. Since 2011, he has been developing industrial methods for waste and material processing and renewable energy. Dr. Jorjzadze founded IM Technologies in 2019 to transition the high temperature furnace technology from the Physics Laboratory of Stony Brook University where it currently sits.
Dr. Drees is an experimental nuclear physicist with over 30 years of experience. He had leading roles in multiple nuclear physics experiments at CERN in Switzerland and Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). He was project manager (2000-2008) for detector upgrades for the PHENIX experiment at BNL, a group of about 500 scientists from around the world. As Associated Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (2008-2012) at Stony Brook University he was responsible for the facilities of 27 departments and a budget of about $70M, and as Vice Provost for Budget and Planning (2012-2015) he managed a $150M budget. Since 2015 he is Chair of the Department of Physics and Astronomy,
