On geometric complexity of Julia sets V

Będlewo, Poland, 21.07-26.07.2024

The conference addresses a question of how complex Julia sets can be. This topic is of a great importance in modern dynamical systems. It includes (but is not limited to):

This is a very active area within dynamical systems, covering crucial topics in holomorphic dynamics. Several outstanding researchers including Fields medalists and Abel prize winners have worked in this area: Carleson, Sullivan, Thurston, Milnor, Yoccoz, McMullen, Smirnov, Avila. Prominent results have been obtained recent years by invited speakers. However, many problems remain wide open. We hope that during the planned conference fruitful discussions will emerge, new techniques will be discussed and new collaborations will start.
