IX Conference on Finite Dimensional Integrable Systems in Geometry and Mathematical Physics 2027 (FDIS 2027)
19.07.2027-23.07.2027, Będlewo
19.07.2027-23.07.2027, Będlewo
FDIS 2027 is organised in partnership with Clay Mathematics Institute continues the well-established international conference series Finite Dimensional Integrable Systems in Geometry and Mathematical Physics (FDIS), which has been held regularly since 2011 at major research centers worldwide: in Jena (2011), Luminy (2013), Będlewo (2015), Barcelona (2017), Shanghai (2019), Tel Aviv (2022), Antwerp (2023), and Guanajuato (2025).
The meeting will focus on integrable systems with a finite number of degrees of freedom. This is the classical core of the theory of integrable systems, with roots in the work of Lagrange, Jacobi, Kovalevskaya, Noether, Poincaré, and others. This area remains a central and dynamic part of modern mathematics, driven by deep interactions between algebraic geometry, symplectic geometry, dynamical systems, and mathematical physics. Its modern development is strongly connected with KAM theory, Hamiltonian dynamics, algebraic and differential geometry, mathematical physics, and computer algebra, and is fueled by the development of new analytical and geometric methods, as well as by the reinterpretation and solution of classical problems in contemporary frameworks.
The conference will be held under the auspices of the Stefan Banach International Mathematical Center in a neo-Gothic palace in Będlewo near Poznań. It has a rich history, beautiful interiors and a charming park. It is now the seat of the Research and Conference Centre of the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Location of the conference venue:
Pałac Będlewo
ul. Będlewo, ul. Parkowa 1
62-060 Stęszew
The registration, as well as applications for contributed talks and posters, will open on 1 February 2027, with a deadline of 1 May 2027 for contributed talks.
