The IM PAN Department of Dynamical Systems currently consists of Artem Dudko, Yonatan Gutman (head), Gustavo Pessil, Feliks Przytycki, Michał Rams, Adam Śpiewak and Xulei Wang. The members conduct research in a very wide spectrum of dynamics. For example: ergodic theory (Gutman, Pessil, Wang), fractal geometry (Rams, Śpiewak, Pessil), holomorphic dynamics (Dudko, Przytycki), information theory (Gutman, Śpiewak), mathematical physics (Gutman, Śpiewak), metric number theory (Rams), one-dimensional dynamics (Przytycki, Rams), representation theory (Dudko), smooth dynamics (Przytycki, Rams), thermodynamic formalism (Przytycki, Rams), topological dynamics (Gutman, Pessil, Wang), algebraic topology (Wang).
The Department organises a weekly seminar in Warsaw, also transmitted online. For details see Seminar. One can find information on our past Simons' Semesters and our past and upcoming conferences here.
