Gustavo Pessil is interested in Dynamical Systems, Ergodic Theory, and Fractal Geometry. His research focuses particularly on topological dynamical systems with infinite entropy, viewed through the lens of metric mean dimension. He has worked on ergodic aspects of the theory [1], on subshifts with compact alphabets [2], and on connections of this invariant with other metric properties of the system, such as the regularity of the dynamics and the fractal structure of the phase space [3].
