Where does my donation go?
Your donations will go towards supporting Franklin students and families with school supplies, household items, after school classes and activities, snacks, food, and more!
Impact NW's mission is to end houselessness. We are starting with Portland and surrounding neighbor cities to give everyone a chance to live a life full of joy and less worries of where they will sleep that night or where their next meal will come from. Help us support Franklin families do the same.
You can make an impact!
Here's how:
Franklin High School's SUN is supported by local non-profit, ImpactNW. You can make a donation through ImpactNW and have it directed to Franklin's SUN Program.
When filling out the donation form, there will be a preference section, please type out "Franklin High School's SUN".
2. Want to send a check? Please make your check payable to Impact NW with the memo addressing "Franklin High School's SUN" and mail it to Impact NW – PO Box 33530, Portland, OR 97292-3530
3. Donate Items
You can directly drop off items to Franklin High School's Main Office. Please make sure that you communicate to staff that the donation is for the SUN Program. We can provide an in-kind donation tax form for your donation. Please email SUN Site Manager, Janina Butler at jbutler@impactnw.org, to receive this form.
Items we are currently in need of:
Basic clothing items: jeans, shorts, sweatpants, sweaters, t-shirts (New or Used)
Hair care & hygiene items: brushes, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, deodarant, face wash, menstrual products (New & Unused)
Reusable water bottles (New & Unused)
Snacks of all kinds
School Supplies: backpacks, college ruled notebooks, pencils, pens, white out, phone chargers
