In this project a group of 20 students travelled to La Rioja, into a full-immersion, exciting "Science in English" week. They will have morning activities with native teachers, expanding their vocabulary and improving their English fluency as they play and enjoy. In the afternoons they will work in two projects, both group-based - providing an opportunity to strengthen their collaboration abilities and team bonding. A small research project will be carried out with their high school teachers, while the project lead by the Play&Say teachers will be a self-written theatre play.

Amongst all these activities they will have some free time to enjoy the scenery. We are located next to a small village, Ezcaray, which lays on the Sierra de la Demanda , a mountain range in north-east Spain. The air is cool and crisp - with low temperatures, unfortunately- and we are surrounded by hills.
