Core Policy: All Kindergarten students are automatically enrolled in a general music class. Parents are highly encouraged to consider enrolling their child in multiple musical ensembles to foster better musical growth through hands-on participation.
Genesis Choir (K–1st Choir): Meets once a week during the school day. This choir performs at their home church and at the school concerts.
Children’s Choir (banana choir): A K–4 choir that meets on Wednesdays after school until 4:00 PM. They sing for services at Immanuel Lutheran Church, including the Christmas Lessons & Carols service.
Core Policy: All 1st-grade students are automatically enrolled in a general music class. Enrolling in multiple musical ensembles is strongly encouraged to support hands-on musical growth.2

Children’s Choir (banana choir): A K–4 choir meeting on Wednesdays after school. They sing for services at Immanuel Lutheran Church, including the Christmas Lessons & Carols service.
Violin Class: A class for students in grades 1–4 that meets after school once a week. Important: Students must be concurrently enrolled in private lessons to participate. Please contact the director if interested.
All 2nd and 3rd-grade students are automatically enrolled in a general music class. Enrolling in multiple ensembles is highly encouraged to maximize musical development.
Joyful Sounds: Meets once a week during the school day. The choir sings at their home church and at school concerts.
Children’s Choir (banana choir): A K–4 choir meeting on Wednesdays after school. They perform for services at Immanuel Lutheran Church, including the Christmas Lessons & Carols service.
Violin Class: An ensemble for grades 1–4 that meets after school once a week. Private lessons are required to participate.
4th-grade students are required to register for one of the two primary daytime school classes listed below.
Primary Track Options:
Chapel Choir: A 4–5 school choir that meets twice a week during the school day. Students sing for church services and school concerts.
Recorders: A 4th-grade class that meets twice a week during the school day, specifically structured to prepare students for instrumental band in future years.
Optional Elective Ensembles:
Children’s Choir (banana choir): A K–4 church choir that meets on Wednesdays after school to sing for special services at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Circle the State: A 4–8 honors choir that prepares students for more challenging choral music. Rehearsals meet once a week at 7:30 AM.
Handbells: Teaches fundamental note reading and rhythms. This class meets after school on Mondays, with a minimum of 7 students required to form an ensemble.
Violin Class: A 1–4 violin class that meets after school on Thursdays. Private lessons are required to participate.
5th-grade students may register for as many music classes as they would like.
Daytime School-Day Classes:
Chapel Choir: A 4th–5th grade school choir meeting twice a week during the school day. Students sing at church services and at concerts.
Beginning Band: A 5th-grade class meeting twice a week during the school day. Students choose a band instrument and learn to play basic music fundamentals.
Before/After-School Classes (7:30 AM):
Youth Choir: A 5–8 church choir that meets once a week at 7:30 AM at the church to sing for special Immanuel Lutheran Church services.
Circle the State: A 4–8 honors choir meeting once a week at 7:30 AM to prepare more advanced choral music.
Handbells: A 5th–6th grade class meeting once a week at 7:30 AM focused on note reading and rhythm, with a minimum of 7 students required.
Violin Class: A 5–8 violin class meeting at 7:30 AM once a week. Private lessons are required to participate.
6th-grade students may register for as many music classes as they wish. Daytime school classes involve regular public performances and quarterly graded evaluations.
Daytime School-Day Classes:
Jubilate Choir: A 6–8 school choir that meets twice a week during the school day. The choir sings for church services, concerts, and submits quarterly evaluations.
Advanced Band: A 6th–8th grade class meeting twice a week during the school day, playing for special events throughout the year.
Before/After-School Classes (7:30 AM):
Youth Choir: A 5–8 church choir meeting once a week at 7:30 AM at the church to sing for special services.
Circle the State: A 4–8 honors choir meeting once a week at 7:30 AM to tackle sophisticated choral arrangements.
Handbells: A 5th–6th grade class meeting once a week in church at 7:30 AM to practice note reading and rhythm, with a minimum of 7 students required.
Violin Class: A 5–8 violin class meeting at 7:30 AM once a week. Private lessons are required to participate.
Junior High students are welcome to join any number of musical offerings. Daytime school classes involve regular public performances and quarterly graded evaluations.
Daytime School-Day Classes:
Jubilate Choir: A 6–8 school choir meeting twice a week during the school day. Members sing for church services, major concerts, and submit quarterly performance evaluations.
Advanced Band: A 6th–8th grade instrumental class meeting twice a week during the school day to play for special events across the academic calendar.
Before/After-School Classes (7:30 AM):
Youth Choir: A 5–8 church choir meeting once a week at 7:30 AM at the church to sing for special services.
Circle the State: A 4–8 honors choir meeting once a week at 7:30 AM to study complex choral music.
Handbells: A 7th–8th grade class meeting twice a week in church at 7:30 AM focused on advanced note reading and rhythm coordination, with a minimum of 7 students required.
Violin Class: A 5–8 violin class meeting at 7:30 AM once a week. Private lessons are required to participate.
