Compose your responses in a word processing program, such as Word, first. Save this file to your computer or a USB flash drive. Copy and paste the text into the message area of the Discussion Board. Should there be an interruption in your Internet connection, you will not lose any work. Only if required by the instructor should the Word document be uploaded into the forum.

Compose your script in a word processing program such as Word before beginning the recording. Use this script when creating your recording to ensure no major points are omitted. For responses less than 5 minutes in length, please use these Moodle-embedded instructions above. For assignments requiring greater than 5 minutes, students should utilize the IU Moodle Multi-Recorder Tool. For video recordings, remember to turn your camera on for the post.
