At IMC, all students have access to photocopying, printing and email services via the Library.
The IMC Library collection includes books, journals, audio-visual materials as well as other resources, and provides a work-space for students.
Students also have free access to the nearby Fisher Library at the University of Sydney.
How do I borrow books from the Library?
To borrow books from IMC’s library, you will need to come in person and pick up a book using your IMC student card.
What are the Library's opening hours?
Mon - Fri 9am till 6pm. If you need to make an appointment, please contact our librarian via library@imc.edu.au
For the length of your degree, Student Services is here to support you and your study.
We offer several support services to guide you during your study at IMC. This includes social activities, resume workshops, counselling services and student feedback.
We also organise social activities for students during the year. This allows students to engage in a social atmosphere and meet new students.

Where can I get information about social activities or field trips?
All students will be emailed details regarding social activities both on and off-campus during the Term. Make sure you check your student email!
What do I do if I am not feeling well on campus?
If you are not feeling well on campus, please visit the Student Services Office located in Bay 3.

New students can request to pick up their student ID card after they have uploaded their student photo via the Student Portal.
All students will be required to have their Student ID card on them while attending all IMC classes on campus.
Other uses for your Student ID card include photocopying and printing via the Library computers.
What happens if you lose your ID card? You will need to apply for a new Student ID card and pay a fee of $15.00

How can I apply for a copy of my Academic record?
Please email myrecords@imc.edu.au for a copy of your academic record.
There is a first aid kit available in each building and IMC staff immediately respond to any first aid assistance that is needed.
The IT Department is available via itsupport@imc.edu.au.
Once a new student is enrolled in their course they will receive an email from the IT Department with details of how to log onto their Portal and set up their Moodle account.
This email is usually sent within 48 hours of enrolment.

How can I log onto my Moodle account and the Student WiFi?
Select the network named 'TOP-WiFi'. You will then be prompted to enter your student number and password when you visit a website.

For international students, it is very important to know your VISA conditions.
Visa conditions: Full-time study load (4 units/semester) Working hours (40 hours/fortnight during a semester)
OHSC requirements: Always remember you need to protect your rights. If there are any problems, you can see us or other professional bodies for advice to solve these issues.
Can I work more hours during the holidays?
International students are able to work more hours during Semester breaks.
What can I do if I want to work more hours during the holidays and my employer asks for a letter of approval?
Students can supply a copy of our Academic Calendar to their employers to confirm holidays in between Terms.
All International Students are required to have Overseas Health Cover while studying in Australia.
OSHC is a compulsory requirement and IMC can help arrange this for all International Students.
The Department of Home Affairs and Border Protection requires that all student visa holders must have Overseas Student Health Cover.
It is important for all new students to collect their health care cards at the start of their degree.
How can I get my OSHC Card?
Visit the Student Services Office to see if they have received your OSHC card.
