Building your practical professional skills
IMC has several initiatives to help students prepare for their careers. We call this Career Edge.
Through IMC’s career development programs, students will turn the theory they learn in class into real-life experiences. These experiences will enable students to be outstanding candidates in today’s highly competitive employment market.
Career Prep Workshops
Every Term, a dedicated member of our staff organises workshops that enable you to gain insight into what employers are after and how you can build yourself to be a suitable candidate.
In these workshops, we invite industry professionals who dedicate their time and expertise to give you advice and tips on topics that range from resume writing right down to nailing a job interview.
CareerFit
CareerFit is a one-week program run by IMC.
Students will get to learn effective business communication skills and experience a tour of the workplace.
You will utilise smart technology tools and explore business case studies to improve your learning.
Work Placement
Coupled with classroom learning whilst undertaking your degree, you will be able to apply your knowledge to real-world applications in work placements at leading organisations in Sydney.
Student Ambassador Program
IMC Ambassadors acquire paid work experience and assist the marketing team in promoting the programs, benefits and services offered to prospective students, parents, teachers and other stakeholders.
