Microplastics analysis in farmed mussels
The microplastic analysis I did was for farmed mussels from the Gulf of Follonica in Tuscany, from a Greenpeace campaign.
All of my samples came from this farming, where there were three sampling sites within the aquaculture farming. Site A was close to the coast, site B was at the centre of the farming, and site C was at the external part of the farming.
For every site, 6 organisms were analyzed.
