When and where will the course be?

The 20hr short-course training will take place over 3 consecutive Saturdays in June:

      • 3 June. Part 1: Introduction to data analysis in R using quantitative and qualitative methods
      • 10 June. Part 2: Searching and visualizing patterns and relationships in the data
      • 17 June. Part 3: Data mining through modelling, factoring, associations and forecasting.

Doors will open for registration at 8:30AM and instruction will begin at 9AM. While instruction will be in English, periodic summaries will be given in Thai. The training sessions are 60-90 min long and breaks and lunch are provided. English and Thai speaking tutors will be on hand to assist participants to with hands-on exercises. The last training session ends at 3:30 but participants are invited to explore ideas during the half hour wrap up sessions at the end of the day. Participants are encouraged to bring sample datasets they would like to explore during the breaks and wrap-up sessions.

The training will take place on the Payap University Mae Kao Campus in the Faculty of Science Vivorn Building, Room VV106 (on the ground floor). Parking can be found around the International College Pentacost Building across from the Vivorn Building or in the lot near the 7-11 Store opposite the Main Library for Payap University.
