Accommodation: If you still do not have a reservation, we provide a list of recommended hotels located near the venue. The neighborhoods of Botafogo and Copacabana are particularly convenient. Botafogo generally offers more affordable options, while Copacabana is a more touristic area, with easy access to the beach, one of the most popular in the city. The price of the hotel varies greatly depending on the choice made.
For your convenience, we have prepared an interactive map with suggested hotel options and the event location. You can click on the icons to see descriptions and details of each hotel:

For hotel reservation we recommend the site booking.com. Some visitors also prefer Airbnb, which offers the possibility of renting nice apartments.
some useful information about public transportation, mobile connectivity, and personal safety.
Transportation: Between your hotel and the event venue, we recommend using Uber Black. In Rio de Janeiro, Uber rides are typically much more affordable than taxis with one-way trips between the event location and the hotel usually costing between R$15 and R$25 (3-5 US$). The Uber can also be used from transportation between the Galeão International Airport and the Hotel. The Galeão airport has a very practical Uber lounge.

The JAE payment system is used on many public transportation services in Rio de Janeiro. You can:
Purchase a JAE card at various locations, including metro stations and other authorized sales points.
Alternatively, instead of using a physical card, you can pay directly with the JAE mobile app (available for both Android and iOS) by generating and scanning a QR Code.
We recommend checking with your mobile phone provider before traveling to verify whether your current plan includes international roaming in Brazil and whether mobile data will work during your stay.
If roaming is not available or is too expensive, a convenient alternative is to purchase an international eSIM, which can be installed before your trip and activated upon arrival. Several providers offer this service; one popular option is Holafly, which provides data plans specifically for travelers visiting Brazil.
Should you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will look for ways to offer additional assistance wherever possible and we will provide contact numbers and share new information closer to the event date.
