August 31 - September 4

Monday - First Settlements:  Students will compare the first 2 settlements of Jamestown & Plymouth and organize the information. 

Tuesday - First Settlements:  Students will explain the importance of the Mayflower Compact on the settlement of Plymouth and the use of self-government. 

Wednesday - Religion in the Colonies: Students will identify the religious groups that settled in the colonies and their reasons for immigration. 

Thursday - Colonial Geography: Students will analyze and annotate a text explaining the impact of geography on the colonial economy and the differences between regions. 

Friday - Colonial Geography: Students will use a map to show how the geographic features influenced different parts of the colonies depending on the region.
