How scholarship recipients will get reimbursed: We will be sharing a link to a Google Form to submit all reimbursement receipts in a follow-up email after the forum. The form will allow you to input to what account or to whom you would like the payment sent, either through ACH payment or check.

Q: What kinds of scholarships are being offered?
Scholarships are available for:
Registration ($100 for Community Composter Coalition members), which includes access to the forum and reception.
Travel expenses (up to $400) on a reimbursement basis.
Lodging expenses (up to $500) on a reimbursement basis.
Q: Who is eligible?
Members of the Community Composter Coalition (official + supporter status) and California Alliance for Community Composting are eligible to apply for any of the above scholarships if they have financial need.
Individuals belonging to chronically disenfranchised communities (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, low-income, disabled) are encouraged to apply.

Q: What’s the timeline?
August 29: Early bird scholarship application deadline.
Beginning of September: CCC26 and USCC registration opens. Scholarship awardee decisions released.
November 15: Final deadline. Scholarship applications will be considered on a rolling basis until November 15. The sooner you apply, the more likely we will be able to meet your needs.
COMPOST2026 Scholarships - CLOSED
Scholarships of up to $1,500 are also available for the U.S. Composting Council's annual conference and trade show (Feb 2-5 in Sacramento, CA).
