Welcome to Dr. Yumeng Li's research group LAMMI at UIUC!  

The LAMMI group works at the intersection of materials and structures, manufacturing, design and artificial intelligence. We are interested in understanding the multiscale mutliphysics behaviors of materials and structures, building advance computational tools for complex material and structure analysis,  and developing physics-informed machine learning for accelerating the integrated design of complex systems for a wide range of applications in energy storage, flexible electronics, health care and manufacturing. 

We are looking for highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students to join the group. Candidates with solid background in materials science and engineering, computational simulation and mechanical engineering are encouraged to contact Prof. Li (yumengl@illinois.edu).
