Haeryun Kim

Hello, I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership in the College of Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. 

My research focuses on equity-centered K-12 education policies, particularly school finance, teacher labor markets, and district governance. I am particularly interested in studying how to design school personnel policies, distribute school finance, and structure education governance to respect learner diversity and ensure the inclusion of diverse student groups. I use quantitative methods and employ an economic and political perspective to explore these topics.
