Orchard Downs Restoration Project

In 2019, FTGU applied for a grant through SSC to restore 3.7 acre plot of land in the Orchard Downs area. With this land, we plan on restoring it to a native short grass prairie garden! Our project will last about 5 years with hopes to bring back biodiversity, native plants and animals to the area, and document the presence of invasive species as well as creating an accessible green space for everyone in Orchard Downs area.
