This week we will be learning about abstract art through the lens of Sophie Taeuber-Arp's work. We will explore basic art elements and discover ways these elements can express a feeling or emotion (ex. lines, color, etc.) students will be asked to reflect on how they are feeling at the beginning of our session. Then, using paint, students will be able to explore ways they can express their chosen emotion in their abstract painting using the basic art elements.
