To me, the phrase "together we can" means that only when we put our differences aside can we come together. We need to accept ourselves and others in order to move forward. My piece is danced to 'Spoken Word' about the true beauty of girls. The entire piece is 4 minutes and the words are extremely inspiring. Together we can help build each other up and learn to love ourselves. We need each other, because we are all in this together.

In this song from the film version of Cats, the character describes their memories as “beautiful ghosts” of a time in their life before. Although much has changed for them, they are encouraged and empowered by their new friends and exciting possibilities for the future. Our performance is an interpretive dance to this thoughtful and inspiring piece.
