Postgraduate study is considered the next vital step in an academic or professional career after an undergraduate course. Master is to advance your subject knowledge within a specific area of your field which you become 'master' of your field, while PhD is for you to contribute entirely new knowledge to your field. No pressure, then!
Research is fun, good for your various skill development from the learning process, and the most important one is where you contribute to the community by solving the society's problem.
Two vacancies for Master/PhD Students at Kulliyyah of Engineering
1.Radiation Hardened Graphene Nanocomposite Field Effect Transistor- Attach to MIMOS and Nuclear Agency Malaysia- Hiring Master student - Funded by FRGS Grant- Monthly allowance will be provided- Malaysian
2. Flexible Piezoelectric Nanogenerator Graphene from Waste Materials- Full time at Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM- Hiring Master/PhD student - Funded by SRC Grant- Monthly allowance will be provided
Requirements;- Malaysian (Priority)- CGPA 2.75 and above - Bachelor degree (Materials/ E.Electronic/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent)- Good command in English (oral & written)- Willing to learn and passionate in research - Able to work in a team and individually - Willing to commute to different places for research (Topic 1)

Menara Akademia: Gading Mana yang Tak Retak
Dr. Idayu is part of the 18 women authors who wrote their struggles and challenges as student and academician. She contributes for the section title "Cahaya di Hujung Terowong". The story is about the challenges and struggles that she has faced during her postgraduate studies in Japan and her first 5 years as academician.
