With the introduction of 5G technology, there is emergence of new services and use cases. 5G positioning is a natural component in many anticipated 5G industrial use cases and verticals such as defense, logistics, smart factories, autonomous vehicles, localized sensing, digital twins, and augmented and virtual reality. 5G positioning use cases come with many performance requirements and challenges in terms of accuracy, latency, availability, reliability, and security. The aim of the workshop is not only to disseminate knowledge in this direction but also to bring different expertise from academics, research organizations, and industry.
