Principal Investigator
Dr. Sharma was born and raised in a small village near Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, where he completed his schooling. He earned his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from Rajasthan University in Jaipur before moving to the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) in 2010 for an M.Tech. in chemistry. He continued his doctoral studies at IITD under the supervision of Prof. S. Nagendran, where he developed a strong passion for academia.
To continue this passion, Dr. Sharma moved to Germany for postdoctoral studies, joining Prof. Rajendra S. Ghadwal’s group at Bielefeld University. In 2020, he moved to the University of Duisburg-Essen as a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Stephan Schulz’s research group.
He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry at IIT Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India.
