Profiles
Kapil Chauhan received B.Tech Honors in Electrical Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University Lucknow and M.Tech Honors in Power System from National Institute of Technology Hamirpur in 2014 and 2016 respectively. In July 2016, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Ropar, where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree under supervision of Dr. Ranjana Sodhi.
His research interests include Wide Area Monitoring (WAMS) of power system, Synchrophasor Measurement Technique, Time and frequency analysis of power grid, MicroGrid stability analysis, Applications of optimizations and machine learning technique in power systems.
