Desirable Skills: A good fundamental knowledge of Power System Modelling, optimisation formulation and solution using Gurobi/CPLEX OR Hands-on with Quantam SDKs like Qiskit/Pennylane, OR Real Time Digital Simuator (RTDS)
JRF and SRF positions
Positions are available in a research project funded by the National Quantum Mission (NQM), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India. The selected candidates will work on the intersection of smart grid power systems and quantum computing. Responsibilities include:
i) Developing and testing hybrid quantum-classical optimization algorithms for dynamic power grids.
ii) Modelling real-time optimal power flow (OPF) problems and simulating them on hybrid systems.
iii) Writing high-quality research papers, project reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
