Exploring the Mechanisms of Chemoresistance mediated through Pol I transcription

My research work focuses mainly on cracking the molecular mechanisms of chemoresistance mediated through Pol I transcription. I am working on a protein known as SPRTN which is the metalloprotease discovered in humans which resolves the DNA -Protein crosslinks formed in cells. My research mainly aims to find the molecular link between Pol I transcription and chemoresistance mediated through SPRTN.
