PhD thesis defense seminar by Dr. Vishal Singh at IIT Ropar
Vishal Singh Pawak successfully defended his PhD thesis work on 20th July 2026. The title of the thesis is Micro and Nanoplastics Pollution in Indian Aquatic and Drinking Water Matrices: Identification, Quantification, Human Exposure and Sustainable Mitigation. He is the third PhD scholar to graduate from our lab. He has achieved this milestone within 4.5 years, including the period of the thesis examination, revision, and defense. Currently, he is pursuing his journey in a startup venture. He has already founded a startup, "Edzero Pvt. Ltd.", which is incubated under TBIF, IIT Ropar. The Advanced Colloid and Interfacial Engineering Group wishes him all the very best for all his future endeavors.
Richa Ranjan, PhD student, received the "Best Poster" presentation award for presenting her research work at the 4th National Conference on Advances in Chemical Engineering and Science organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering, IISER Bhopal, India.
