JRF Position New: We are inviting applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under the ANRF-funded project titled “Design and Development of Gold Nanobipyramids and Dye-Based Nano-Hybrids for Enhanced Sensing Applications: Theoretical and Experimental Investigation.” Candidates with a background in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields are encouraged to apply. The selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for Ph.D. admission in the upcoming semester at the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Ropar.

Applicants with a foundational understanding of statistical thermodynamics and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations will be preferred. Experience with MD simulation packages such as GROMACS, LAMMPS, DL_POLY, etc., along with programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or FORTRAN, is highly desirable.

PhD: We are looking for Ph.D. students from any branch of science or engineering who are interested in the areas of Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology, molecular dynamics simulations, mathematical modeling and simulations, and related areas of chemical engineering, chemistry, and material science.
