Open Positions

PhD Positions (Fully Funded) : We are looking for Ph.D. students for two fully funded PhD positions from any branch of science or engineering who are interested in Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology, molecular dynamics simulations, mathematical modeling and simulations, and related areas of chemical engineering, chemistry, physics and materials science. 

We have open PhD positions on: 

1. "Development of novel microporous material and vacuum-assisted electrical swing adsorption system for CO₂ capture from industrial flue gas"

2. "Development of molecular dynamics (MD) simulation models for carbon-coated zeolite-based adsorbents to achieve a molecular-level understanding of CO₂, N₂, and O₂ adsorption"

Applicants with a foundational understanding of statistical thermodynamics and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations will be preferred. Experience with MD simulation packages such as GROMACS, LAMMPS, DL_POLY, etc., along with programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or FORTRAN, is highly desirable.

Research Associates/ Postdocs: Candidates having their fellowship (SERB DST, CSIR-Nehru, Lady Tata Memorial Trust) are encouraged to apply. 

Masters/ Summer Project: Our lab also entertains applications from final year M.Sc., M.Tech, or Dual Degree students, interested in working for a minimum duration of five months.
