Pratibha Gangwar
Pratibha is a dedicated researcher with a strong academic background in Chemical Engineering, having completed a B.Tech from M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, and an M.Tech in Bioprocess Engineering from IIT Roorkee. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD, focusing on advanced research in active systems..

Shaukat Ali
Shaukat joined our research team in July 2023. He holds both a B.Tech and M.Tech from Aligarh Muslim University. His research focuses on interfacial instabilities in confined geometries, the development of microfluidic devices for sensing, and the synthesis of polymer nanocomposites.
Outside of his research, he enjoys playing table tennis and photography.

Tajamul Ashraf
Tajamul Ashraf is currently pursuing PhD at the Complex Fluids and Living Soft Matter Laboratory at IIT Ropar. He earned his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, in 2021, followed by M.Tech in Industrial Tribology and Maintenance Management from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, from NIT Srinagar in 2023 and he joined IIT Ropar in 2023 to pursue his doctoral research.
His research interests are centred around surface engineering, with a particular focus on developing advanced surface coatings for various applications, including friction reduction, wear resistance, corrosion protection, hydrophobic and reflective surfaces, anti-reflective and anti-microbial properties. His work involves utilizing diverse matrix materials to create composites, thin films, biomaterials, and ceramics tailored for specific engineering challenges.
