Project Interns

MSc/MS projects

Students interested in MSc/MS research projects are encouraged to contact via email at jayakumar@iitpkd.ac.in, attaching their CV.

PhD students

To enroll for a PhD at IIT Palakkad, you must have a Masters degree or 4-year Bachelors degree in Physics or allied areas, and qualify one of the competitive national-level examinations, such as CSIR/UGC NET - JRF, GATE, JEST, INSPIRE etc. Such candidates will go through the admission procedure in place at the Department of Physics at IIT Palakkad, which may include a test and an interview. Post-doctoral positions

We encourage interested postdoctoral candidates to apply for a SERB-National Post-Doctoral Fellowship, or a DST Women Scientist position with us. The institute has limited postdoctoral positions and will be advertised from time to time based on the available vacancies. Candidates with hands-on experience in operating low temperature magento-transport measurement setups are encouraged to apply.
