Learning Management System

Learning Management System (LMS) Administration

TLU oversees the day-to-day operations of the LMS platform, including:

  • Course creation and configuration

  • Faculty and student user tagging

  • User account management

  • Ongoing technical support


IIT Jammu uses open-sourced Learning and Management Solution for courses and classroom directed communication.

  • LMS homepage: lms.iitjammu.ac.in 

  • Faculty members may kindly get courses added in LMS for classroom directed communication. Kindly use the links given below to get started for the first time and for group communication to interact with the class.  


  • Guide for using LMS for the first time

  • Guide for using Quickmail for group communication

    • Once the course is added, students can login and go to their respective courses at LMS. If you are not added for the course you have registered, kindly contact your course coordinator. 

  • Users are encouraged to leverage ICT Initiatives by MHRD through NMEICT
