Kashish is a student of the M.Sc. Physics batch (2025–2027). She joined the RISHI research group in March 2026. Her research interests are centered on photovoltaic (PV) technology, with a focus on the conversion of solar energy into electrical energy.
In particular, she is interested in the development and study of semitransparent solar cells, as well as the design and process optimization of solution-processable solar cell devices. Her work also involves investigating the photophysical processes in semiconductor materials, including charge generation, charge transport, and recombination mechanisms. Through her research in photovoltaic (PV) technology, she aims to explore novel materials and device architectures that can enhance the efficiency, stability and practical applicability of next-generation solar cells. This work is complemented by SCAPS-1D simulation.
