Integrated Sustainable Technology Ecosystem
To establish a globally recognized research hub dedicated to advancing next-generation energy and optoelectronic technologies through innovation in materials science, device engineering, and fundamental physics. We envision contributing to a sustainable and energy-secure future by developing high-efficiency solar technologies, clean fuels, and advanced sensing systems that address critical societal and environmental challenges.
Our mission is to conduct high-impact, interdisciplinary research at the interface of materials science, physics, and engineering, with a focus on translating fundamental understanding into practical technologies.
We aim to:
Develop high-performance photovoltaic and optoelectronic devices, with emphasis on perovskite and tandem technologies
Advance sustainable energy solutions, including green hydrogen production and carbon capture and conversion
Design and engineer next-generation detectors and imaging systems for healthcare, security, and environmental monitoring
Investigate fundamental light–matter interactions and charge transport phenomena using advanced experimental and spectroscopic techniques
Integrate computational modeling and device simulations to accelerate material discovery and device optimization
Foster an environment of scientific excellence, innovation, and collaboration, while mentoring students to become skilled researchers and future leaders
We strongly believe in bridging the gap between fundamental science and real-world applications. Our approach combines deep scientific inquiry with technology-driven innovation, ensuring that our research not only advances knowledge but also contributes meaningfully to society.
Our research program focuses on the development of next-generation materials and device technologies for sustainable energy, advanced optoelectronics, and fundamental materials science. We integrate experimental investigations with theoretical insights to address critical challenges in efficiency, stability, and scalability.
