Welcome to the CREST Lab at IIT Indore, led by Dr. Rajan Singh in the Department of Chemical Engineering. Our research focuses on developing sustainable catalytic processes and reaction engineering solutions for pressing energy and environmental challenges. Key areas of interest include heterogeneous catalysis, carbon dioxide (CO₂) capture and utilization (CCU), and clean hydrogen production through biomass reforming and alcohol reforming, along with thermochemical water splitting. We are also actively engaged in the thermochemical valorization of e-waste and plastic waste, aiming to recover valuable metals and generate energy-rich fuels and chemicals. By integrating catalyst design, experimental studies, CO₂ capture strategies, and reaction kinetics, our lab is committed to advancing technologies that promote a circular economy and support a carbon-neutral future.
