Day 2

Contrast-enhanced perfusion and molecular imaging with microbubbles

Role of microbubbles in therapeutic ultrasound

Lecture 6: 1 hr (KMS)

Phase-change droplets for microbubble generation

Practical Session 2: 3 hrs (HS & KMS)

Demonstrations on acoustic characterization and imaging of microbubbles and nano-droplets, Acoustic attenuation spectroscopy, acoustic droplet vaporization, flow phantom imaging, contrast-enhancement through nonlinear mechanisms.
