Note: The Standardised Runoff Index (SRI) and the Standardised Soil-moisture Index (SSI) are indicators used to measure and monitor hydrological conditions, specifically related to water availability and drought. They provide standardized measures that can be used to compare conditions across different regions and times, helping to inform decision-making and drought mitigation strategies. Both SRI and SSI are estimated based on Gamma-distribution parametric approach. The date highlighted in blue represent the current period from which 7, 15, and 30-day forecasts are made. The anomalies are estimated with respect to the long-term mean climatology (1951-present) for the highlighted period.
