Who are we?

A team...different people, different ideas, different paths, but same objective.
DNA-protein interactions interest me. I am working with different forms of human CGGBP1 to figure out it's direct and indirect DNA-bindings. My work will shed light on how DNA-binding of CGGBP1 underlies its cellular functions.
I like teaching. I am an MSc in Biotechnology from Nirma University Ahmedabad and joined the PhD programme in 2020.
My research work aims to uncover the epigenomic alterations caused by phylogenetically divergent forms of CGGBP1 in response to heat stress. Apart from being interested in biology, I am drawn to sketching, singing, sports...nearly everything that is fun. After graduating from BHU, I joined the PhD programme in 2021.
I am studying cancer biology through assessment of futile transcription using theoretical framewworks, computational models and experiments. I code to decode. R geek.
🥇MTech from IITGN. Enjoy teaching, dancing, sketching.
Making gene expression predictable using Python. Learning Deep through the transcriptome and the epigenome. I code to decode. Python geek.
🥇MTech from IITGN. Enjoy tinkering with electronic gadgetry listening to music.
I am trained in Evo-Devo biology and Epigenetics. Since 2006, I became interested in the evolution and functions of human CGGBP1. My group has applied cell and molecular biology with NGS and basic bioinformatics to solve some CGGBP1 mysteries and generated interesting questions in the process. Through the prism of CGGBP1, we aim to understand human cell biology and its evolution better.
