Ph.D Scholars (Rolling Mode of Selection)
We at the µSYC Group are always open to having dedicated and focused scholars who are looking to push the boundaries in both fundamental and applied areas in microwave systems, circuits, and allied areas. If you feel you have what it takes, please send an email to debapratim@iitbbs.ac.in with your brief academic background. Please note that irrespective of the outcome of the email communication, the selection will happen as per the norms of IIT Bhubaneswar, twice a year. Prior publications are NOT MANDATORY, however, publications in dubious/unscrupulous journals/conferences may be a disadvantage!
M.S.R. Scholars (Rolling Mode of Selection)
We at the µSYC Group are always open to having dedicated and focused scholars who are looking to push the boundaries in both fundamental and applied areas in microwave systems, circuits, and allied areas through an M.S. by Research degree program. This is a relatively new academic program at IIT Bhubaneswar, allowing students to stretch their coursework time while simultaneously getting more time to start a meaningful thesis research project. An M.S.R. student usually gets more time to explore the field and develop the necessary skills in the field, and usually not just make a more impactful thesis project, but also improving their chances of acceptance in the industry! An M.S.R. degree is equivalent to about 40 - 50% of a Ph.D.
