Geospatial Entrepreneurship


Geospatial data is a cornerstone for community development and participation, provisioning of basic amenities by state agencies, and as a marketplace for

interventions to ease business, logistics. In all these areas, new innovations are required and new ways of working are needed.


GISE Hub will offer 2 mechanisms for supporting entrepreneurship in the Geospatial Marketplace

  1. Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) engaged in innovative geospatial product ideas (2 year funding).

  2. Prototyping funds for advanced product/service ideas in the geospatial marketplace (18 month funding).


Open call for participation will be issued for both programs and selection will be conducted at multiple levels.
