This training is for youth service providers participating in the Illinois Pathways to Partnerships Project (IPPP).

Participants will learn about contributing factors to compassion fatigue and burnout. In addition, participants will learn to identify when they are in a state of burnout and how to implement strategies for building resilience to promote quality work when providing services to transition-age youth.
Session 2: Engaging in Meaningful Work Using PERMA

Participants will learn to identify personal values and how to align them with meaningful work while using a positive psychology framework.

Participants will learn to identify their personal strengths and how they can be used to support transition outcomes for students.
Date: March 5th, 2026 from 6:30pm-7:30pm CT via Zoom
Participants will develop strategies for fostering a supportive work environment that will lead to reduced turnover rates. Tools will be provided for building a sense of community among providers to improve interagency collaboration and lead to better post-secondary outcomes for transition-age youth.
