Assessment Day

Monday, October 10, 2022

The Provost's Office, the University Program Assessment Committee (UPAC), and the Center for Learning Innovation (CLI) welcome you to Illinois Tech's Fall Assessment Day.

Program assessment of student learning is a critical component to the continuous improvement of all Illinois Tech academic programs and an extremely important aspect of our accreditation process with both the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and programmatic accreditors, like ABET or AACSB.

The purpose of Assessment Day is to engage faculty involved in student learning assessment with the expectations of our accreditor, the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), and with best practices regarding the assessment of student learning. The day includes a keynote from HLC and working sessions devoted to each step of the assessment process.
