After Algebraic Statistics 2022, from May 23 - May 27, 2022, UH Mānoa hosted a workshop on the Algebraic of Phylogenetic Networks. Lead by Dr. Elizabeth Gross, the workshop brought together 8 junior researchers working at the intersection of mathematics and evolutionary biology. During the workshop, participants presented their work in mathematical phylogenetics and worked on open problems in small groups.
