Muttaih Muralitharan

Muttiah Muralitharan is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest spin bowlers in the history of the cricket. Murali was born on April 17, 1972. Made his international debut for the Sri Lankan cricket in August 1992.  He was a part of the Sri Lankan team that won the 1996 Cricket World Cup. After the retirement he was known as "800" as he the only bowler to take 800 wickets in test cricket. A movie name "800" came into light in the name of Muralitharan and his life story as a tribute to him. He currently serves as the spin bowling coach for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League.
