FitLiver was implemented as the Final Year Project. It is a mobile application which supports to manage and treat Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) with Lifestyle Modification. The main objective of this project is to suggest efficient personalized dietary recommendations and provide physical activity intervention to NAFLD patients while allowing them to get all their requirements.

This project aims to address the problems faced by NAFLD patients in Sri Lanka in treating and managing their condition. By identifying the prevailing gaps in the current system and understanding the difficulties faced by the patients and medical professionals, the FitLliver solution was designed and implemented. This will assist to improve non-alcoholic fatty liver conditions in the patients by lifestyle modification techniques and will assist to maintain constant communication with the medical professionals that affect to improve the overall productivity of the treatment process.

Super Track is a mobile application that provides the platform for the retail grocery shopper to come one step closer to their supermarkets. It is an innovative, convenient, and efficient shopping platform providing a unique shopping experience to the customer.

‘Soled’ is a women-only online shoe store where customers can get their shoes customised and delivered to their door step. Soled will have an unmatched, extensive selection of different colours, designs, sizes and soles which customers can choose from to customise their own pair of shoes. Currently, women need to travel to a physical store to buy a pair of shoes and most of the time they may not have the right colours, design, size or sole.

With Soled anyone can purchase footwear from various sales manufacturers in a variety of sizes, colors and styles to fit their personal taste or customize the shoe of their dreams all through a single platform. Customers will be able to pay online and the shoes will be delivered to them. Management will rely on customer feedback, suggestions, and sales reports to introduce or eliminate certain styles and sizes.

This was one of the major projects implemented at Unilever Sri Lanka in 2019-2020. eSeal stands for electronic seal which is a ready-to-use platform that uses Passive IoT Technology, AIDC Infrastructure and Software that integrates with the ERP which is SAP. This system was used to track the pallets dispatched from the factory till it is received at the warehouse. It was mainly used to track the pallets so they will not be misplaced or misused and also used to reduce human error and save time. This project enabled to increase the accuracy of Supply Chain process by a great deal.

This was one of the major and most challenging projects Garushi worked on during her placement year. She was able to successfully undertake the responsibilities of a Project Manager and a Business Analyst to gather the requirements and work with the software vendor to ensure success of the project.

An app delivering an end to end management system in quality assurance. Launched with the objective of ensuring that the best quality product is being delivered to the consumers via a well-organized quality management system. This app was initiated by the Quality Assuarance department in order to overcome the critical problems they were facing at the time regarding the QA process in production. The solution consist of a real time dashboard providing graphical and numerical information about the processes (Audits,CRQS) conducted at the factories and the warehouses.

Garushi was involved in the project as the anchor from IT and was playing the role of Project Manager. Starting from requirements gathering to documentation and arranging weekly sprints the project was a great opportunity for her as she was exposed to many avenues. She was also able to get a hands-on experience of JIRA tool as the project was completely done under agile methodologies.

A warehouse management system (WMS) is a software application that helps control and manage the day-to-day operations in a warehouse. WMS software guides inventory receiving and put-away, optimizes picking and shipping of orders and advises on inventory replenishment. It can reduce the likelihood of errors that could occur when a product is shipped. The system can also help a company fulfill orders more rapidly and instantaneously trace ordered products within the warehouse. In the end, the overall goal of warehouse management system software is to achieve a paperless environment that directs your employees automatically on the optimal picking, put-away and shipping of your products.

Garushi was one of the local anchors for SAP access management at Unilever in which she gained extensive knowledge and experience in Solman and GRC components of SAP. She also gained vast exposure and hands on experience in SAP WM and MM by conducting many UATs for new SAP processes and system changes that had been implemented while liaising with the SAP developers and the business teams in Unilever. It was rather a privilege to have the opportunity to have experience regarding SAP ERP system as it is one of the most commonly used and recognized ERP systems globally.
