Here's a glimpse of Garushi's Journey...
EDUCATION
Garushi completed her primary education at Sujatha Vidyalaya Nugegoda and her secondary education at Visakha Vidyalaya Colombo 03. She completed the G.C.E Advanced Level Examination in 2017 in the Combined Mathematics stream. For her higher education she joined Informatics Institute of Technology affiliated with the University of Westminster. She is a BSc (Hons) Business Information Systems First Class graduate.
During this period she actively took part in extra curricular activities and numerous competitions. Her philosophy revolves around exploring new opportunities to build the best version for herself and future career while hustling to build her own venture. WORK EXPERIENCE
Garushi is currently an Associate Project Manager at MicroImage (PVT) LTD also known as MiHCM which is a worldclass HR software solutions provider with over a 600 global clientele in various industries. She handles numerous projects in the South Asian Region and this has given her the oppurtunity to take responsibility, display her leadership skills, meet new people, work in a variety of Industries and continuosly learn and evolve through out the journey.
She also had the opportunity to work as a Project Manager Intern at Unilever Sri Lanka Limited which is one of the largest FMCG companies in Sri Lanka for over an year. She had the chance to work on a variety of projects and excel in shaping her career where she got to play multiple roles as a Project Manager and a Business Analyst. It helped her to gain experience in different avenues of Supply Chain. During her stay at Unilever she was recognized as one of the best team players for her strong interpersonal, relationship management and analytical skills.
She also pursued her career as a Mathematics and English Tutor since 2017 till present which enhanced her communication skills and the ability to adapt the teaching methods to meet the needs of the student.
