Bathiya & Santhush, also known as BNS, are a Sri Lankan pop duo consisting of Bathiya Jayakody and Santhush Weeraman who met while at the "Mary Anne David School of Vocal Music". They have been one of Sri Lanka's most successful and popular music artists during the past two decades.
BNS is one of the most popular music acts to have emerged on the Sri Lankan music scene since the 1990s,They not only known for Sinhala songs but also mixing Sinhala, Tamil, and English rap verses in their originals, as well as Hindi rap verses in their folkhop remixes, highlighting their modern style and the music industry in Sri Lanka.
Starting as a home-based music duo, BNS is now the primary shareholder of the BNS Production Group, which includes some of the most successful companies in the Sri Lankan entertainment industry, including Showtown Entertainment event management and production, Saregama Music Digital Audio Production, Saregama Films, Saregama Digital Content Acquisition & Management, and Leap Strategic Concepts.
