Pooja joined the group in 2020 and her work focuses on provenance studies of sandstones of central India, specifically focusing on the outlier basins of the Vindhyan group exposed in Bhopal and Sagar.

Jitendra joined the group in 2024 and the focus of his research is looking at the geochemistry of various rock suites of the Chota Udaipur region of Western India.

Premkumar joined the group in 2024 and is looking to unravel the evolutionary history of the granties and the basement gneisses of the Chhota Udaipur Alkaline Complex in Gujarat.

Subhashree joined the group in 2025 and her work focuses on the Tertiary Sedimentary Sequences of Southern Indo-Burmese Ranges: Re-assessing the Provenance, Channel Diversion Event, Paleo-geography and Paleo-climatic Conditions

Graduate Student Co-Supervised with Dr. Jyotirmoy Mallik

Priti joined the group in 2025 and her work encompasses the tectono magmatic evolution of western coastal dyke and includes investigation of the structural controls, magma emplacement mechanisms, and temporal evolution of Deccan dyke swarms along the western continental margin of India.

Graduate Student (Co-Supervisor)

Damipaiah is a senior Geologis at DMGC, Shillong. He is also pursing his PhD jointly from from Assam University and our group at IISER Bhopal. Damepaiah is working on the varied felsic to mafic volcanism across the Shillong Plateau associated with Kerguelen plume volcanism.
