Introduction
Welcome, I'm Andres Grieve and I am 18 years old, Mexican/Canadian, and in 12th grade of (IIOP) Instituto Internacional Octavio Paz.
This Blog is to show and record all the Different CAS activities I've done in and out of the school.
Thrue the years I did a good amount of activities away from school while having some inside the school, the mentioned activities are just some that I had done in my life in the past 2 years somce it wasn't just high school being some of middle school was during the pandemic. Meaning some of the activities had to be individual or people I was close to during the pandemic.
CAS
CAS is the abbreviation for Creativity, Activity and Service. It is the part of the IB program that helps the students enjoy their life outside of school. It mainly revolves around bettering ourselves in our own forms and being able to understand people on a different level. There are 7 main objectives in CAS that the student must reflect upon:
Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience
Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences
Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance
